Job description
- Actively participates in rating activities and committees, on assigned credits within a portfolio, including assisting in the surveillance of ratings, and demonstrates strong proficiency with Excel, financial models, financial data, and financial statement analysis
- Works effectively primarily with local markets and jurisdictions in a team-oriented, multi-cultural and environment Listens for and identifies new opportunities and involves the appropriate level of management Participates in committee as a voting member in adherence to policies, after one year, by assembling data and preparing written and oral presentations to the ratings committee
- May Participate in committee as an observer / presenter in adherence to policies Supports analyst in preparation and assembling of data for presentation to rating committee Possesses an understanding of financial markets and business environment and the relationship to S&P products Makes recommendations to the rating committee and prepares material for ratings publication Supports analyst in preparing material for ratings publication Listens for and identifies new opportunities and involves the appropriate level of management
