Tata Power has raised ₹9,000 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis.

ListingMaturity Impact on Stock Market

It has issued 9,000 unsecured, redeemable, taxable, listed, rated NCDs worth Rs 900 crore on Tuesday, a BSE filing said.

Listing

The NCDs will be listed on the WDM segment of SSE Limited.

Maturity

The NCDs will mature in 2 series.

The series-I debentures worth Rs 400 crore would mature on February 23, 2024, while series-II debentures of Rs 500 crore would mature on February 23, 2026

Impact on Stock Market

On Sensex, Tata Power had gained by at least 2.5% with an intraday high of Rs94.30 per piece in early trading hours.

At around 12.01 pm, Tata Power was performing at Rs92.95 per piece up 0.98% on Sensex.
