The Income Tax Department has observed that Hero MotoCorp made more than Rs 1,000 crore fake costs and over Rs 100-crore cash exchanges for a farmhouse in Chhattarpur, Delhi, sources told ANI.

Annual Tax Department did a hunt and seizure procedure on March 23 on Hero Motocorp and its executive and overseeing chief Pawan Munjal at numerous areas in Delhi-NCR, which closed on March 26.

Munjal bought a farmhouse in Chhattarpur where the market cost of homestead house was controlled to save charge and utilized dark cash to pay cash more than Rs 100 crore, which is an infringement of area 269 SS of IT Act, said sources.

As indicated by Section 269SS of Income Tax Act, while executing Immovable Property, 100% punishment will be collected in the event that the vender has acknowledged a measure of Rs at least 20,000 in real money from the purchaser.
