Job Description
- Support and be a point of connect with HP for the activities performed by the tax compliance operations team, in line with any recent updates or changes providing training or guidance where necessary across the business.
- Ensure the periodic compliances around direct taxes including WHT and TCS are completed on time and accurately.
- Work with treasury and external consultant to ensure compliance to WHT on foreign payments including coordinating for 15 CB/CA certificates.
- Work with the indirect tax team and other controllership members on adhoc requests on GST refund requests.
- Take an active role in projects , initiatives impacting tax accounts.
- Support the lead to establish and maintain a strong relationship with senior executives and key stakeholders
- Maintenance and monitoring of an adequate system of accounting records
- ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliances are monitored for local, financial and tax reporting.
- Work closely with the other controllership members to support on audits both statutory and tax and other compliance initiatives.
