Reliance Jio and Google have announced that JioPhone Next will be available for purchase starting November 4 on Diwali.
Reliance JioPhone Next was delayed due to the global chip shortage but in the next few days buyers will be able to get their hands on it
Price
Jio Phone Next users will have to pay an entry price of Rs 1,999 and the rest paid via easy EMI over 18/24 months. Or buyer will have the choice to pay Rs 6,499 up front to buy the phone.
The company said that it is introducing a “unique financing option” making it accessible for a much wider set of consumers.
JioPhone Next will be available across the country at Reliance Retail’s network of JioMart Digital retail locations.
EMI Plans
Jio is offering several plans for those who want to buy the JioPhone Next. There are four plans which will be available for buyers.
Always On Plan: Under this plan, buyers will have the option of choosing two EMI plans: Rs 300 for 24 months or Rs 350 for 18 months. Buyers will get 5GB of data plus 100 minutes per month.
Large Plan: Under this plan, buyers can pay Rs 450 or Rs 500 for 24 or 18 months respectively. Buyers will get 1.5GB data per day along with unlimited voice calling.
XL Plan: Under this plan, buyers can choose to pay Rs 500 or Rs 550 for 24 months or 18 months respectively. Buyers will get 2GB of data along with unlimited voice calling every month.
XXL Plan: Under this plan, buyers can choose to pay Rs 550 or Rs 6000 for 24 months or 18 months respectively. Buyers will get 2.5GB of data along with unlimited voice calling every month.
Features
Jio Phone Next will be powered by Pragati OS, an optimised version of Android made for the JioPhone Next. Google and Jio have worked closely to create this OS.
The JioPhone Next will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor. The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display.
It will have a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera for selfies. There will be a dedicated SD card along with 3.5mm audio jack.
