SBI introduces ‘free’ service for its customers to file income tax return

State Bank of India (SBI) is offering a free service to its customers that will allow them to file their income tax return (ITR) through its YONO app.

However, customers should be ready to shell out at least Rs 199 to avail the chartered accountant-assisted tax filling facility.

How to file?

  1. Log in to the YONO app on your mobile phone.
  2. Proceed to shop ‘Shop and Order’ and click on ‘tax and investment’.
  3. Once you see Tax2Win, click on it for more details.
  4. You will have to pay a minimum of Rs 199 for the CA-assisted service.

Taxpayers can also file income tax directly on the Income Tax Department’s website.
