What is IOT?Comment from company

The company claims VIL is the only telecom company in the country to offer a “secure end-to-end” IoT solution that includes connectivity, hardware, network, application, analytics, security and support.

With the latest launch, VIL’s IoT offerings now cover industries such as smart infrastructure, smart mobility, and smart utilities, based on its 5G-ready network.

What is IOT?

The Internet of things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects—“things” or objects—that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the Internet.

Things have evolved due to the convergence of multiple technologies, real-time analytics, machine learning, commodity sensors, and embedded systems.

Traditional fields of embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, control systems, automation (including home and building automation), and others all contribute to enabling the Internet of things.

Comment from company

“Recognising the challenges faced by enterprises in conceptualising, designing and deploying IoT as a strategic driver, with Vi Integrated IoT solutions, the telco will adopt a consulting-led engagement to support businesses in identifying their needs, design and develop the right IoT solution and implementation.

It will also provide them with a tailored solution to be integrated with best-in-class enterprise-grade IoT framework.”
