Japanese PM arrives in India to hold summit talks with Modi

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida arrived right here on a short visit.

The travelling chief is scheduled to keep summit talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at five pm.

The Japanese high minister arrived in New Delhi at round three:40 pm and is scheduled to depart at 8 am on Sunday.

The preceding India-Japan annual summit befell in Tokyo in October 2018.

Besides key bilateral problems, the state of affairs in Ukraine is also in all likelihood to discern inside the Modi-Kishida talks.

“The summit will offer an possibility for each facets to review and give a boost to the bilateral cooperation in diverse areas as well as trade views on regional and worldwide problems of mutual hobby as a way to develop their partnership for peace, balance and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific location and beyond,” the Ministry of External Affairs stated on Thursday.
